Is purple a color that naturally comes from the sky, or did you put it in there special? I am partial to purple sky pictures, though I do not notice the sky actually being that purple.
If you take photos after sunset, the sky very often shows up absolutely beautiful colours! Like this one I too at Klerksdorp Dam in South Africa last year: http://thephotophile.blogspot.com/2009/06/water-bird-heaven.html
Often clouds especially can be purple at sunset......
